Geometric capabilities will be used to rotate a triangle about a point and special matrices will be defined to perform the same operations: these two approaches will help us validate the answer. Moreover, we will also animate the rotation of the triangle, using a slider.

And a torus will be generated by the rotation of a circle about the x-axis and another one about the y-axis. This kind of problem is currently part of a single variable calculus course where students need to find the volume of the so-called solid of revolution. The 3D parametric window plotting of TI-Nspire CAS enables visualization of the solid.
